Ecommerce ads built for profitable ROAS.

Shopping and Performance Max can scale a store fast, or quietly drain it. We run ecommerce accounts on clean feeds, accurate conversion values and new-customer goals, so spend grows revenue and margin, not just top-line ROAS that hides the leaks.

Why us for ecommerce

High ROAS can still lose you money.

A great-looking ROAS often hides brand cannibalization, repeat buyers and thin-margin products. Here is where ecommerce accounts quietly leak real profit.

Messy product feed

Bad titles, missing attributes and feed errors throttle Shopping and PMax before bidding even starts. We get the feed clean and complete.

Vanity ROAS

Reported ROAS often counts brand and repeat buyers you would win for free. We measure new-customer ROAS and real margin instead.

No new customers

If PMax just harvests existing buyers, you are paying to grow nothing. We push it toward genuine new-customer acquisition.

Margin blind spots

Optimizing to revenue treats a high-margin and a loss-leader sale the same. We feed profit data so the algorithm bids on what actually pays.

PMax black box

Left alone, PMax buries spend in junk placements and brand terms. We use exclusions and signals to steer it where it earns.

AOV left flat

Average order value is a profit lever most accounts ignore. We use bidding, promos and creative to lift basket size, not just conversions.

Scope

What we run for ecommerce.

Shopping, Performance Max and Meta, built on a clean feed, accurate values and new-customer goals.

Product feed optimization

Clean titles, attributes, GTINs and feed health so Shopping and PMax can actually compete.

Conversion and value tracking

Accurate purchase values and, where possible, margin, so the algorithm optimizes for profit.

Shopping and PMax

Structured Shopping and steered Performance Max across Google’s surfaces, with real guardrails.

New-customer goals

Bias toward new buyers, not just repeat customers you would win anyway.

Audience signals

First-party lists and intent signals to point the algorithm at high-value shoppers.

Retargeting and retention

Cart and product retargeting that recovers revenue without paying for sales you already had.

Creative and offers

Images, video and promo angles that lift click-through and average order value.

Brand and placement exclusions

Stop wasted spend on brand terms, junk apps and irrelevant placements.

Budget and pacing

Controlled spend with room to learn, scaled on profit rather than vanity ROAS.

What we measure

The ecommerce metrics that matter.

Top-line ROAS can lie. We hold the account to profit, new customers and basket size.

New-customer ROAS

Return on spend from genuinely new buyers.

Why it matters: the ROAS that reflects real growth, not harvested repeat sales.

Profit / contribution margin

What is left after product and ad cost.

Why it matters: revenue can grow while profit shrinks. We watch the right one.

Average order value

Revenue per order.

Why it matters: a powerful profit lever most accounts leave untouched.

New-customer rate

Share of orders from first-time buyers.

Why it matters: stops PMax taking credit for repeat buyers you owned.

Feed and product health

Disapprovals, coverage and feed errors.

Why it matters: a broken feed caps everything downstream.

Conversion rate

Share of sessions that buy.

Why it matters: tells us when the leak is the site, not the ads.

Placement and spend quality

Where PMax budget really goes across surfaces.

Why it matters: we surface and exclude the junk the black box buries.

Blended efficiency

Paid measured against total store revenue.

Why it matters: stops paid claiming credit for brand and organic sales.

  • Will let us clean the feed and fix tracking
  • Are ready to invest meaningfully in paid growth

Probably not yet if you…

  • Have no working purchase tracking at all
  • Refuse to fix a broken product feed
  • Have margins too thin for paid to ever work
  • Judge success on top-line ROAS regardless of profit
Ecommerce FAQ

Common questions.

Our ROAS looks fine. Why change anything?
Because reported ROAS often counts brand searches and repeat buyers you would win for free. We measure new-customer ROAS and real margin, which usually tells a very different story and shows where the actual growth is.
Do you fix the product feed too?
Yes. Feed quality is one of the biggest levers in ecommerce. We clean titles, attributes and errors so Shopping and PMax can show the right products to the right buyers. A great strategy on a broken feed goes nowhere.
Shopping or Performance Max, which should I run?
Usually a combination, steered carefully. PMax extends reach across Google but needs guardrails. We use new-customer goals, exclusions and signals so it acquires new buyers instead of harvesting existing ones.
Can you optimize for profit, not just revenue?
Yes, where you can share margin data. We feed profit or contribution values back to Google so it bids on what actually pays, not loss-leaders. If margin data is not available yet, we proxy it as closely as we can.
Is there a minimum budget?
We work best with stores ready to invest meaningfully in paid growth. If it is too early or margins are too thin, we will tell you straight on the call rather than take your money.
