1

Hook in 3 seconds

Creative built for the skip button, tested every week.

2

Exclude the junk

Kids apps, mobile games and junk placements blocked from day one.

3

Scale proven creative

Winners get budget, fatigue gets caught before CPA rises.

Where your ads can run

Five formats. Each buys a different moment.

Default campaigns spray across all of them. We pick by goal, cap the rest and exclude what never converts.

Skippable in-stream Before videos. You pay only when people watch or click.
In-feed In search results and the home feed. Pay per chosen click.
Shorts Vertical, between Shorts. Cheap reach, needs a fast hook.
Bumper Six seconds, unskippable. Frequency-friendly reminders.
Non-skippable Fifteen seconds, guaranteed. Used sparingly, capped hard.

The skip button is your friend when the targeting is right. Skippable formats mean you mostly pay for people who chose to keep watching.

Honest fit check

YouTube is not for everyone. Here is the straight answer.

Video builds demand before people search, and that power costs patience. Check your column before you hire anyone, including us.

YouTube earns its budget when…

A proven offer that already converts
At least one decent video, or budget to make one
Remarketing pools or strong first-party data
Patience for view-through, judged at 60–90 days
Tracking you will let us wire properly

Skip YouTube when…

No video, and no budget to produce one
Expecting direct ROAS on day one
Budget too small to feed learning and retargeting
Views and subscribers are the actual goal
You need every dollar back this week

Second column? We say so on the audit call and usually point you to Search first. That honesty costs us a sale and saves you a quarter of wasted spend.

The guardrails

How we keep video spend accountable.

Left alone, Google optimizes for cheap views wherever they live. These settings are on from day one.

ON

Placement exclusions

Kids content, mobile games and junk apps blocked before launch.

ON

Frequency caps

Nobody sees your ad ten times a day.

ON

Audience layering

Intent plus remarketing, never broad and hopeful.

ON

Creative A/B rotation

Two hooks live at all times. Losers rotate out.

ON

Brand suitability settings

Inventory modes and content labels set to protect the brand.

ON

View-through honesty

View-through conversions reported in their own column, never inflated into ROAS.

Also standard: companion banners, ad sequencing, device and geo splits, Shorts opt-outs where they underperform and monthly placement reports. None billed as extras.

How we run it

Audit to scale, with nothing hidden.

The sequence every YouTube engagement follows. Boring, deliberate, repeatable.

What we report

Numbers that separate views from revenue.

YouTube dashboards flatter every campaign. We report the numbers that map to profit, every month.

Cost per acquisition (CPA)

What a lead or sale from video actually costs, click and view-through shown separately.

Why it matters: the one number that decides whether YouTube stays in your mix.

New-customer %

Share of conversions that are genuinely new buyers, not remarketing repeats.

Why it matters: demand creation is the whole point of video. This proves it is happening.

Cost per qualified view

A view from your target audience that survives the hook, not any autoplay anywhere.

Why it matters: cheap views from the wrong people are the most expensive thing you can buy.

Wasted placements

Share of spend on channels, apps and videos that never convert.

Why it matters: hunted weekly with placement reports and exclusions. Less waste, more budget for winners.

Hook rate Share of viewers who survive the first five seconds of each creative.
View-through conversions Counted, shown in their own column, never blended into click ROAS.
Frequency How often one person sees your ad. Capped and watched.
Audience mix Which layers convert: intent, remarketing, lookalike.
Metrics we do not celebrate. Views, impressions and completion rate look great in a deck and pay no bills. We show them for context and never optimize your budget toward them.
The guarantee

FAQ

YouTube questions we get a lot.

Do we need a polished, expensive video?
No. A phone-shot video with a strong first five seconds regularly beats studio polish, and we script the hooks and structure so you can shoot lean. What we will not do is let Google auto-generate a video to represent your brand.
Is there a minimum budget?
A practical one, yes. YouTube needs enough spend to feed learning and build remarketing pools, or the system never gets smart. If your budget serves you better in Search, we say so on the audit instead of taking a retainer to run the wrong channel.
How do you credit view-through conversions?
Honestly. Someone who saw your ad and converted later gets counted, but in its own column with a tight window, never blended into click ROAS. You always see which number is which, so video takes credit it earned and nothing more.
Should we run Shorts?
Test them, do not default into them. Shorts inventory is huge and cheap, but it punishes slow creative and inflates view counts. We opt in with vertical cuts built for the format, then keep or kill based on CPA, not reach.
How long until we see results?
Remarketing usually moves first, within weeks. Cold audiences need a learning period, and a fair read on the full system comes at 60 to 90 days. We keep budgets capped until the data earns more, so the wait stays cheap.
What about brand safety? Where will our ads show?
Handled before launch, not after an ugly screenshot. Placement exclusions for kids content, mobile games and junk apps, inventory modes set to your tolerance, and a monthly placement report showing exactly where you ran and what we blocked.
